A TEENAGER went on trial today accused of the murder of Jodi Jones, 14, in a Midlothian wood in 2003.
Luke Mitchell, 16, who lodged a special defence of alibi, also denied possessing a knife or knives - and being concerned in the supply of cannabis resin. Mitchell, who was also 14 at the time, is accused of attacking Jodi of Parkhead Place, Dalkeith, near Roan's Dyke, in woods between Easthouses Road and Newbattle Road in Dalkeith.
