WATER chiefs were today blasted over their failure to put in flood prevention measures in the city's east end.

Despite a promise to spend (pounds) 25million preventing the type of flooding which devastated almost 200 homes in 2002, Springburn MSP Paul Martin says there's no sign of work getting under way in Dennistoun and Balornock.
