EVERY one of us has complained at some point about the state of our roads and pavements. Millions are spent on repairs annually but still loose pavings and potholes seem to beset every street in the city.

But it will cost an estimated pounds-100million to fix all the ills on our highways and byways. The fact that Glasgow is a busy, urban community makes it inevitable that repair work is always going to be a massive job.
