THE return of Travis to their hometown last night was something more than special and not just because they made (pounds) 100 more on their busking spree in Sauchiehall Street yesterday than they did in Newcastle the day before.

Last time they played in the city was in the impersonal confines of the SECC. Here the sweat of 2000 devotees dripped down and the band jumped almost as high as the floor-sprung audience.
