Summary


ONTHE day of the Queen's Coronation at Westminster Abbey in June 1953, buglers of the 90th Glasgow company of the Boys' Brigade were up early to blow a salute.

Goodness knows what the locals made of the rude awakening but by later in the day street parties were in full swing as Glasgow celebrated the Coronation.
