TRADITIONALLY the summer months are a quiet time for news. That certainly hasn't been the case this year though. The phone hacking scandal, the demise of the News of the World, the terrible riots in England and the daily roller-coaster that is the world economy, have kept journalists and politicians busy.
Each one of these issues, in its own way, is serious and important. But the one that has the most immediate impact on the lives of individuals, families and communities here in Glasgow and across Scotland is the worry about the economy.See the full content of this document
