MORE than 30 subjects will be axed from schools because they are not popular enough.

Scotland's exam body, the SQA, has identified the subjects at Higher and Advanced Higher and has sent the list to schools. They include vocational courses such as the principles of hair colouring, facial care, event planning and telecommunications.
