Hero's Killer Appeals Over Juror's Army Wristband

Summary


A killer who stabbed and killed a decorated soldier has claimed he was the victim of a miscarriage of justice after a juror was allowed to serve at his trial who wore a red, white and blue wristband with the legend "save our troops".

Barry McGrory, 29, was jailed for life and ordered to serve at least 20 years after he was found guilty by a majority verdict of murdering Scots Guard Paul McGee in Lochwinnoch in October 2009.
