IT'S A RECORD breaker - twice! The biggest ever Great Scottish Run got Glasgow on its feet at the weekend. A total of 20,868 people signed up for this year's event, of which the Evening Times is media partner, beating the previous record of 20,529 set in 2006.

And the first athlete to cross the finish line, Eritrean athlete Tsegai Tewelde, smashed the 10 K record, becoming the fi rst person to complete the race in less than 30 minutes.
