GLASGOW'S gangs are usually thought to be teenage boys running amok. However, Chief Reporter DAVID LEASK and photographer LENNY WARREN found that girls are also taking violence to the streets in she-gangs like the Gorbals Burdz and the Ibrox Young She Tongs EVEN her mum calls her Bitch. She's sixteen with big gallus hoop earrings, a scowl to match her name and a broken fist. "I hurt it fighting, " she says, holding up her bandaged fingers.

On her other hand are two brassy knuckle-duster rings. Both read "Bitch".
