Scotland were today put firmly in their place by the Danish manager Morten Olsen, who relegated them to the second strata of international football.
Olsen, who is friendly with the Scots manager Berti Vogts from his time coaching Cologne in Germany, praised what he termed Scotland's "good spirit and fighting abilities" after his Danish team had won last night's friendly by 1-0.
