St Mirin's Statue Takes Over Proud Position in Town

A BRONZE statue honouring the patron saint of Paisley will be unveiled in the town today.

The GBP17,500 tribute to St Mirin, by sculptor Norman Galbraith, measures 6ft 5in and shows the Celtic monk stepping over a burn. It has been erected after years of fundraising and campaigning.
