LAST time I was in Barcelona I spent an afternoon melting in the 29 sun at the Parc Guell, being bowled over by the beautiful Gaudi artworks that make up the bones of the amazing sculpture park on the hill behind the city.

The place was packed, but really hands-on, with kids from school parties clambering over the Spanish architect's mosaic iguana and wilting tourists like me and my pals wandering around wide-eyed and "wow!"ing at every turn.
