IRAQ: A former SAS hero has failed to sell a bronze buttock "liberated" from a statue of Saddam Hussein after the fall of Baghdad.

Nigel "Spud" Ely, who used a hammer and crowbar to remove the buttock from the statue, hoped a museum would snap up the war relic at the auction in Derby.
