IRAN: Iran will cut off oil exports by closing the Strait of Hormuz if the West imposes sanctions on its oil shipments.

Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi has accused the West of plotting against Iran, according to the Iranian official news agency. About 40% of the world's oil supply passes through the strait. Some 80% of Iran's foreign revenue comes from oil exports.
