IF YOU'RE a motorist who thinks the current parking charges are a pain in the neck, brace yourself for even worse news. Glasgow City Council is keen to introduce parking fees at workplaces, entertainment venues and even out-of-town shopping centres.

Drivers have come to expect free parking at many of the latter, including Glasgow Fort at Easterhouse and Braehead near Renfrew.
