THE public inquiry into the deadly blast at the ICL Plastics factory in Maryhill will be held in Glasgow - but the venue has not been decided.
The Lord Justice Clerk Lord Gill, who will chair the inquiry, said no date has been set, but added: The Scottish Executive has identified a possible venue and the decision will be announced in a few days." Nine people were killed in the explosion in May 2004, but Lord Gill said: "I would emphasise this is not a fatal accident inquiry and will not be conducted as such."
