A MAJOR holiday firm has been accused of giving Glasgow a second class service after another flight was “needlessly” diverted to an English airport.

Thomas Cook passengers on the return trip from Gran Canaria to Glasgow were told their plane could not land at Glasgow “due to freezing fog” and would be diverted to Manchester.
