JUSTICE Minister Kenny MacAskill is to be asked to intervene in the case of ex-world featherweight boxing champion Scott Harrison after his agreed transfer from a Spanish jail to Barlinnie was dealt a blow.
Harrison's lawyer, Ron Mackenna, is to make a plea to Mr MacAskill to step in on compassionate grounds to aid the repatriation of the 33-year-old, originally from Cambuslang, who has served more than 20 months of a 30-month sentence in Botafuego jail in Algeciras for assault.See the full content of this document
