GOVAN-BORN actor Iain Robertson is set to join the cast of iconic television sitcom Rab C Nesbitt.

Iain will play the part of Rab's remaining son, Gash. The part was played previously by Andrew Fairlie, who has now given up acting to concentrate on teaching. Andrew took his degree while the series took a 10-year hiatus.
