THE streets were filled with sharp suits and the sound of scooters at the weekend as the city's second Mod weekender took place.

Mods from across Britain descended upon Glasgow. This year's event also coincided with the 40th anniversary of the infamous battle between Mods and Rockers on Brighton Beach in 1964. Harvey Keith, 53, was a Mod first time around, while son Martin, 22, donned his desert boots after seeing the film Quadrophenia with his dad seven years ago. JONATHAN RENNIE spoke to them about life as a Glasgow Mod.
