Energy giant British Gas has been fined pound(s)2.5 million for failing to deal with complaints correctly.

The firm, which serves nearly half of the UK's households, and operates as Scottish Gas north of the border, failed to re-open cases when customers indicated their complaint had not been resolved, industry watchdog Ofgem found.
