WITHIN hours of the Asian tsunami, volunteers from Glasgow the Caring City were at Manchester Airport loading vital supplies on to planes.

Reverend Neil Galbraith, the driving force behind the charity, didn't waste any time after discovering four empty aircraft were leaving for Thailand and Sri Lanka.
