THERE is plenty to sing and dance about in Glasgow's biggest music festival, Celtic Connections, which enters its second decade next week with its 11th annual feast of traditional, roots, contemporary, celtic and more exotic sounds.
Beginning next Wednesday, more than 100,000 people from all over the globe will pack out 11 venues across the city to catch performances from major artists including Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson (right), Dr John, Runrig and Shane MacGowan and The Popes to speciallycommissioned spectaculars such as the opening concert in which piper Fred Morrison crosses musical genres with a full classical orchestra, choir, four solo pipers and narration by Cathy Anne McPhee.See the full content of this document
