THE story of the World's Greatest Entertainer comes to Glasgow next week - and stars a man who started his showbiz career in the city aged just 10.

Allan Stewart, who won a competition in the Barrowland Ballroom when he was 10 and cut a record two years later, will be playing Al Jolson In 1948 Jolson beat both Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby to the title of The World's Greatest Entertainer.
