WHAT'S the point in having pedestrian precincts if cyclists are allowed to speed through them?

The number of cyclists riding through the pedestrianised section of Sauchiehall Street is ridiculous. It's only a matter of time before a pedestrian is seriously injured or killed by one of these nutters.
