Summary
NINE young people from across East Ayrshire competed in a recent Chef's Apprentice competition at The Cook School Scotland in Kilmarnock.
The youngsters who took part in the competition spent three days under the direction of some of the top chefs in the country. On day one, they cooked their own signature dish, while on day two they cooked the dish again, this time incorporating the chefs' suggestions. On day three they were shown how to cook apple tarte tatin, then cooked their signature dish and apple tarte tatin against the clock.See the full content of this document
