A NEUROLOGIST told a murder trial it was "extremely unlikely, if not impossible" that baby Abbie Jamieson was fatally injured before her father woke her on the day she died.

Dr Richard Appleton, of Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, was giving evidence at the trial of Craig Jamieson, who denies murdering four-month-old Abbie at the family flat in Dumbarton Road, Glasgow, in February 2008.
