THE family of a tragic Scots girl who died three months after a road accident in Bahrain have said an emotional goodbye at her funeral. Olivia Dewar suffered serious head injuries when she was hit by a car as she crossed the street in the village of Saar on December 14.

The message came from one of three senior partners behind the bid, chief development officer William Findlater, who spoke exclusively to the Evening Times after a fiery meeting between Lifetime Recycling Village Ltd and 300 concerned local residents.

Hunt After Dog Dies

ANIMAL welfare workers were today hunting for the owner of a dog which died after "horrific suffering" in a house abandoned since Christmas. Severely emaciated Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog Thor was discovered on March 2, when housing association staff cleared the house in Glasgow's Castlemilk.
