Teachers 'Thrown On School Scrapheap' Exclusive
HUNDREDS of newlyqualified teachers have been "thrown on the scrapheap" by Scots councils. Figures obtained today by the Evening Times reveal only four of the 426 teachers to complete their probationary year in Glasgow and Renfrewshire have been offered permanent jobs.
