Man Jailed for Driving Smoking Car

ADISQUALIFIED driver was banned for eight years after he admitted driving a car with smoke billowing from its engine. Police were called to the vehicle after it caused a tailback on March 21 on Arkleston Road, Renfrew.

IWAS astonished to read on your front page (August 29) claims that Justice Minister Kenny MacAskill wants to impose a levy on pubs and clubs to pay for policing.
