Billy's an Inspiration to Kids Who Dream. . . First Word
IT'S not every day you see a bona fide movie star in Glasgow's east end. But then, not that many paperboys from Cranhill have appeared in Hollywood blockbusters. I've made no secret of my nerdy passion for Lord of the Rings. I wear my anorak with pride and I'm dead chuffed that one of the stars of the movie version comes from Glasgow.
ALANA HERRON, 24, lives in a two-bedroom tenement flat in the east end of Glasgow. Originally from Cumbernauld, she has been in her current home for a year. A young entrepreneur, Alana has her own business, Rentacrowd, a casting agency which supplies the advertising, TV and film industries with supporting artists and models.
