Man Had Pounds-50,000 of Cocaine
DRUG dealer James Davies was caught with cocaine with a street value of pounds-50,000 in his car after an anonymous tip-off. The High Court in Glasgow heard 32-year-old Davies, of Waverley, East Kilbride, was nabbed by Scottish Drug Enforcement officers in Portland Place, Hamilton, who were engaged in an unrelated operation.

POLICE in Glasgow are trying to trace the relatives of two pensioners who died recently. Ian Thomas Haffey, of Braeside Street, Maryhill, died at home on January 25. There were no suspicious circumstances.
