Driver Is Killed After Car Hits Tree
A DRIVER has died after his car hit an embankment and crashed into a tree. Alan Smillie, 24, of Glenesk Place, Darnley, Glasgow, was pronounced dead at the scene after being trapped in his Ford Fiesta on the A7 near Selkirk, in the Borders.
