Man Held After Attack

A MAN is in hospital after being seriously injured during an attack in the Barmulloch area of Glasgow. The 41-year-old was rushed to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary in the early hours of today after the incident in Ryehill road.

Good Samaritan Beaten with Baton

A GANG of thugs attacked a 27-year-old with a wooden baton after he came to the aid of a barmaid. The man was in Woodcutters Pub, Cumbernauld, when he saw seven men being abusive towards the barmaid.
